01Is it really free?
Yep — groups, expenses, payments and a few AI scans every month, no fees or ads. Unlimited scans and advanced analytics come with Pro from $2.99/mo, first week free.
02How do people pay each other?
Open the debt screen, tap «Pay» — you'll see the recipient's phone number for the transfer. Send the money in your own bank app, tap «I paid» — once the recipient confirms, the debt is marked paid in Splic.
03What if my friend isn’t on Splic?
Add them as a Guest — they count in debts right away. Send their personal link: when they install Splic, every share and debt rolls over to the new account.
04How does splitting a receipt work?
Snap a photo or type items in by hand — once the receipt starts, everyone ticks what they had. When all are done, the owner closes the receipt and the totals split automatically.
05What happens to receipt photos?
We run the photo through AI to pull out items and prices, then delete the original within 24 hours. Only the parsed data stays.
